During my time as a Video Intern at ZKU I was assigned to the Turn2Talks program. The TURN2 RESIDENCIES are a joint project of the Kulturstiftung des Bundes (German Federal Cultural Foundation), the ZK/U – Center for Art and Urbanistics and the Triangle Network. In collaboration with the Nairobi Contemporary Art Institute (NCAI), the G.A.S. Foundation in Lagos and the Bag Factory in Johannesburg, they paired African artists with German curators to create and share work with the Moabit neighborhood. I was in charge of assisting African artists in documenting their works digitally and creating a short interview at the end of their residency.
I also took on extra video projects as I was interested in the construction happening at ZKU. I documented Open Haus events for ZKU's personal use and made a short documentary about the ZKU Residency.
